We engage in detailed analysis of the product components and conduct FEA analysis of the CAD data to ensure the design will withstand its requirements in use. These include stress, motion, vibration and heat.
We review and test the prototypes to ensure the design objectives have been met. The design is then refined if required. Charlwood can create the prototypes inexpensively on our in-house rapid prototyping machine (one of few consultancies in Australia to offer this in-house). If needed a more detailed Computer Numeric Control (CNC) prototype can be produced for market testing and evaluation, providing a more realistic model of the finished product in appearance and function.
