Charlwood was commissioned to design this iP68 / nema 6 rugged Wireless terminal. The main housing is diecast in aluminium and engineered to be robust and reliable. The device is ultra-low powered and can be battery or solar powered if commercial power is unavailable.
Charlwood also developed the product graphics and interface.
Following on from the market leading success of the household broom range designed by Charlwood the studio was asked to design a new range of high visibility, rugged brooms for the industrial / tradesman’s market. The robust headstock is hard wearing and durable. The rugged bristles are designed for tough conditions.The range comprised of 3 sizes, with a unique look that defined this area of the market whilst paying tribute to the crest detail across other products in the Oates family.
Charlwood also developed a colour strategy for the range to be taken across to future products.
